About Chris

I first discovered the East Cape in 1995 while visiting my father who had retired here. I had visited various spots in Mexico all my life, mostly Hermosillo and coastal areas such as Guaymas and Puerto Peñasco, but once I visited the East Cape, I knew it was the place for me. In February 2001, my wife Allison and I, along with our three young sons made the move to Los Barriles from San Diego, in order to take over the family business, now known as Smokey´s Curing Company & Cantina. What started as a leap of faith, turned into more than 25 years of building a life and deep roots in the community. Through the years, I was often the first call for people looking to buy or sell real estate in the area. In 2021, I made it official and stepped into real estate full time. Since then, I´ve helped my clients navigate the real estate market with clear advice, a wealth of local knowledge, and a straightforward approach.
