About Gabriella

My name is Gabriella Russo, and my journey to Los Barriles, Baja California Sur, began in 2018. Originally from Sicily, Italy, I grew up surrounded by the warmth of family and good food in my family’s restaurant. After 20 years of traveling the world and working on hospitality, Sail Super Yachts and as a kite surf instructor, I discovered this magical town while teaching kite-surfing. I was captivated by its unique blend of a vibrant, active community and the stunning natural environment—the ocean, the waves, and the mountains. I quickly knew I wanted to plant my roots here. After purchasing my own land and successfully navigating the process of building a business—which includes my own food truck park and two food trailers specialising in Asian – Mexican fusion cuisine and healthy açaí bowls—I realised I could help others do the same. My experience has been made easier by being fluent in five languages: Italian, English, Spanish, French, and Portuguese. This is a skill I am passionate about using to help people seamlessly transition to life in this magnificent community. As a resident, I embrace the active lifestyle Los Barriles offers, from mountain biking, hiking, paddle-boarding, pickle ball, surfing and, of course, kitesurfing. I am committed to providing my clients with a five-star, stress-free experience, drawing on the same meticulous attention to detail and client-focused service I perfected during my years on Super Yachts. My mission is to ensure your dream of living in this incredible place becomes a reality.
